    I've had this set for years, but always pull out a wooden set when I play. The reason being is the white pieces are opaque in design and therefore difficult to differentiate pieces when viewing at certain angles (directly behind them for example). Pawns are often mistaken for bishops and vice versa. Makes a great display otherwise.

            product was packed defective, no product inspection process--pieces broken,board scratched,felt on bottom of pieces meant to hide
            holes(hollow)therefore peels back/off in box/
            nothing to stick to. Only thing not damaged was box itself--poorest demo of product quality I have ever seen! Small order test,thank god I did not order furniture!!! Don't bother trying to make it up to me-- not interested.HAYNEEDLE NO MORE!!! DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SHIP OUT!!!
