This chess set is great! The board is big enough that you can really see all possible moves for your pieces, whereas it can be more difficult with smaller boards. The actual pieces are heavy enough to not fall over if they get tapped (a complaint I had with other boards) and they are easy to slide into squares. The only thing I could see as a downside to this board is, it is a little heavy. The board weighs about 17 lbs so if you are looking for a chess set to travel with, this might not be your best option. I have no complaints for this board.

We ordered the black and white chess set, but when we opened on Christmas morning realized they sent a brown and black set instead! The set was a present for my my dad, but luckily he liked the colors anyway[...] everything was great!

Got what I expected. The pieces are obviously machine carved, and maybe I'm wrong but the white sections seem to be some kind of pressed stone. Overall it's fine. I'm satisfied with the size and heaviness of the board and pieces.
