[...] The pieces have nice details, weight, and height - but they're almost too large for the squares. A few of the pieces are marred, one of the knights is a little disfigured, a few others have an uneven stain, but the overall look of the set makes up for these problems. I may order a set of black and white marble pieces to use with the board. The drawers are fantastic and the number one reason why I purchased this set. Nice craftsmanship on the wood inlaid squares. The stitching and leatherette look great - very rich - impressive!
