If you wield your chess pieces like the mighty Excalibur, you should be playing on the Lancelot's Revenge Medieval Chess Set. This incredible game casts all the characters from King Arthur lore in incredible detail and provides the ultimate battleground. From Merlin's flowing robe to Lancelot's goatee to the scowl on the faces of the heavily armed pawns, this hand-painted marble resin set doesn't miss a thing.
The confrontation takes place upon a raised chessboard supported by castle walls and 4 castle towers in distressed brick. The inlaid wood playing surface is 14.5 inches square, the perfect size to accommodate 1.25-inch-wide pieces of this set. Each piece is hand-painted and carved from marble resin, an incredible material that looks and feels like solid stone.
All pieces are cast in marble resin, a very durable material that mimics carved stone. The castle themed chess board features a brown and tan playing area with a distressed finish. There are four castle towers in each corner that elevates the board off the table. The sides of the board have a stone wall pattern detailing individual bricks.
