These pieces fit very well on an analysis size board (14"-16" overall or 1.5-1.75" squares). I bought two sets that I use side by side to analyze games.
It is a nicely proportioned set with french style knights. The Queen's crown has rounded points and the rooks' battlements are not too thin, so there is little chance of chipping. They are nicely weighted, and feel right when moving the pieces.
Some of the piece bottoms are a little rounded. They can wobble a little when you place them.

The primary concern with these chess pieces are that the Kings and Queens wobble. Is because the steel weights at the base protrude just a bit. They can be repaired with a lot of sandpaper and elbow grease but this can also remove the surrounding wood at the base of the set. Otherwise this is a very nice chess set and a good value.

I was quite surprised by the quality of the chess pieces I ordered, due to the low price. The woods are beautiful, and the craftsmanship is superb! The service provided was even more surprising.
