I use it to carry to the Babershop Chess Club and the fellows like it...It is large enough not to "sleep" moves...we all are learning together...now someone is establishing a game room next door...we just love it.

[...]there were no veneer bubbles or voids. There were, however, a number of places were you could see clamp impressions and dents in the surface. Initially I thought the piece was without a finish but it did have a thin layer of some sort of finish which did not enhance the maple and walnut veneer. Also the back was veneered with mahogany.
